About Us

Adult counselling

At different stages in life, we all face challenges that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Whether you are seeking support as an individual or with your partner, or as a family. Counselling provides a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement.

What is integrative therapy?

We use an integrative approach to therapy, which means drawing on different counselling styles and techniques to suit your unique needs. No two people are the sam, so therapy is flexible and tailored- bringing together approaches such as Person-centred (talking therapy), Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT- changing the negative mindset), psychodynamic (Looking into the past to understand current behaviours), and creative interventions.

This allows us to work with you in a way that feels supportive and meaningful, helping you to understand yourself more deeply, find new coping strategies, and move toward lasting change.

Adult counselling

You may come to counselling for many reasons- such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, grief, trauma, or simply wanting to feel more fulfilled.

Through counselling you can:

  • Gain clarity and understanding of your thoughts and feelings.
  • Develop healthier coping strategies for day-to-day challenges.
  • Work through past experiences that may still be impacting your present.
  • Strengthen your sense of self-worth and confidence.
  • Create positive changes in your life that feel manageable and sustainable.

Couples counselling

Relationships can bring joy, connection, and comfort- but they can also be tested by stress, conflict, or communication breakdowns. Couples counselling offers a supportive and balanced space for both partners to be heard, understood, and to rebuild trust and connection.

Couples may benefit from counselling if they are experiencing:

  • Frequent arguments or difficulty communicating.
  • Trust issues or betrayal.
  • Feeling emotionally distant to disconnected.
  • Navigating life changes such as parenthood, separation, or blended families.
  • A desire to strengthen and deepen their relationship.

Couples counselling is not only for relationships in crisis- it can also be a proactive way to strengthen communication, build understanding, and grow together as a couple.

Family counselling

Families are complex, and each member can carry different needs, expectations, and struggles. Family counselling offers a safe, neutral space where everyone can be heard. It’s not about placing blame, but about creating understanding and finding healthier ways to support one another.

Family counselling can help with:

  • Improving communication between family members.
  • Reducing conflict and tension at home.
  • Navigating separation, divorce, or blended families.
  • Supporting children and parents through difficult life changes.
  • Strengthening family bonds and building mutual respect.

Moving forward together

Whether you are seeking support as an individual, couple or family, integrative counselling ensures the process is tailored to your needs. Therapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience, and strengthen your relationships- which yourself and with the people who matter most.
